Summertime calls for light floral and fruity fragrances and many times it can be hard finding a good balance between those two scents which heavily dominate the fragrance industry. You don’t always want to smell like a fruit stand or have an old lady/new baby (nice juxtaposition huh?) type of floral scent – where is the middle ground?! That is what I’m here for! These are my top two fragrances I have been reaching for this summer:
Max Azria BCBG Bon Chic
Notes: luscious black raspberry, mango, Asian pear, peony and violet
The perfect floral and fruit combination I have ever found in a perfume. This fragrance when first sprayed evokes its more dominant fruit scents and with wear leaves a subtle but noticeable floral/fruity mixture. This perfume is a hit with women of all ages when I wear it; I’ll have the receptionist at the Doctor’s office comment as well as the girl next to me in class.
Versace Bright Crystal
Notes: magnolia, iced accord, yuzu, musk, pomegranate, acajou, peony, plant amber, lotus flowers
The ultimate “guy-pleaser” perfume! Ladies, if you have a troublesome boyfriend or significant other who never seems to like any of the fragrances you wear, try this one! Usually when I wear a fragrance out that is really good, I’ll get compliments from ladies (like I mentioned with BCBG above), but when I wear this one, I’ll get comments from both sexes! This light, airy and not too heavily floral fragrance hits the perfect balance point. This scent is cool and warm, floral yet fruity, and sensual yet perfect for day time!
