The birthday is the absolute perfect time to stock up on new beauty treats! And thats exactly what I did! I went to Sephora and Mac to grab myself some makeup items I had been putting off, and now that I have them, I’m super excited to share them with you.
I only have one item (they were sold out of the other things I wanted) but boy is it a good one! I finally got my hands on Stone lipliner! They did come out with this in lipstick form, but I still wanted the liner to go with my nude shades, and figured I could just fill in my lips with the liner if I wanted the look all over. It took me over a month to get this, but I’d say it was well worth it.
For the longest time, I didn’t want to do it. I did not want to spend $20 on a SPONGE. But after continuous pressure from friends who do use the BB, I caved. I’ve only used it once, and it didn’t exactly blow my mind, but I will keep you guys updated and will do a proper review once I feel I have used it enough.
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder
The new makeup tricks sweeping the industry right now are baking and strobing. Since I will be doing an entire post on how to do these techniques, I won’t go into too much detail now, except for saying that this powder is the best thing to use for baking. It brightens the face, gives a skin like finish and keeps the makeup on all day long.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White and Black Perfume Oil
Ever since receiving a sample roller ball (which actually had a ton of product in it) as a points perk at Sephora, I became obsessed with these scents. The Nirvana White one is a wonderful light mix of peony and musk and the Nirvana Black is a sensual sandalwood, vanilla and violet scent. I opted to go for the body oils rather than the Eau De Parfum as I find that oils stay on longer.
And as a gift to myself, I purchased the Polaroid Zip Printer. My only regret with this is that the pictures come out itty bitty, they print 2×3. But other than that, the ink comes out in great color, the pictures are clear and nice.
Well, thats all I have for now! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
