“I notice that Autumn is more the season of the soul than of nature.” Friedrich Nietzsche

This look has been one of my go-to looks this fall when I want something simple but also want to up the drama. Flipping traditional eyeshadow applications with placing the darker color on the lid and the ligther on the crease is something that I have been loving doing and highly recommend if you have lighter eyes as it really makes them pop.

I’m going to give you the full run-down of all of the products that I used. Keep in mind that this eye look can really be achieved with any gray brown and warm shadow, but also have fun and play around with it. I specifically wanted to do a simple look that only uses one eye-shadow palette to be more budget friendly.

Becca Aqua Luminous Foundation

Tarte CC Concealer

Becca Lowlight Contour

Blush and Highlight from the new MAC Nutcracker collection (post coming soon!)

Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette in Saleos for lid and Succubus for crease.

ELF Liner

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes — and no falsies!

(I’m going to skip brows as I want to do a full post on the updated way I’ve been doing my brows since going blue!)

ABH Ashton mixed with Aromi Cosmetics Magnetic Mahogany

And there you have it, a super simple and easy look that needs just two eyeshadows but flips the script on traditional shadow techniques and really compliments lighter eye colors. Though I must say, this looks amazing on brown eyes too.

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed!
