(GORGE)OUS DAY

Living in the Pacific Northwest is honestly such a blessing. Yes, the point of this post is to brag! I want to brag about how stunning this region in upper left USA is, but while I’m still working on my photography skills and can’t yet bring you stunning, ethereal pictures of trees, sunshine and waterfalls, please enjoy a few shots of me a friend took as we went on a “hike”(mostly a day trip to take blog photos and enjoy the new autumn weather). Trust me, no upward walking was performed.

Also you may have noticed – the hair is very different! I will have a full post up about this new change, my experience and my recommendations for going from boxed black to any lighter shade coming up in the next week. In the mean time, hope you had a wonderful extended weekend and thank you for reading.

(I can’t say I’m very experimental with the poses quite yet)

The Columbia Gorge is a gorgeous scenic national area which has lush waterfalls, towering trees and some of the most stunning sunsets and sun rises you will ever see. Come on out with a cup of a soy latte and your best flannel to really get the Portland experience.

My Favorite Hiking Spots:

Multnomah Falls – a very popular tourist attraction

Pittock Mansion – atop of which you can see a view of the entire Portland Skyline

Horsetail Falls – A smaller hike just a few minutes drive from Multnomah which is significantly less crowded.

Oneonta Gorge – A hike which requires a change of clothes — you will get wet!
