Mini Sale Haul: H&M

I make a point to only do a “haul” if I’ve bought 5 or more items, but since most of what I bought was heavily discounted I thought of it as my blogger duty to share! I would nab these items up fast as you can see they are on sale and may sell out fast!

I had always underestimated the value of a plain black button-up shirt. I had so many outfits that called for such a garment, but the ones I had were either a shirt dress or had lace detailing on the arms. This one is truly a plain design and it has the added wow factor in the shine, as it is 100% silk. This piece is from the Premium Quality range at H&M and being that it is fully silk, it must be dry cleaned. You may think what is the point of all the investment in a plain piece and one can be found virtually anywhere? Well the shirt being silk is a big bonus but also I like to invest in my basic pieces rather than trendy items as the plain basics will get much more wear.

The item that started the shopping cart in the first place. It’s no secret I love black and silver combinations and I was definitely in need of expanding my cross-body collection (or starting one in the first place..) this bag is beautiful and is made so incredibly well. This bag was featured as part of the Autumn 2013 collection yet has still not gone out of style. Featuring matching pumps (which are $50 reduced from $100) and loafers on the site (both sold out in my size, unfortunately) this design sure is an attention grabber. While black and silver can be very edgy, this bag still holds a softer, feminine appeal with its slight floral design in the front “gate” design.

This bag is one of those online shopping snafus. I did not know it would be so itsy bitsy and must admit I was a bit disappointed when it came in. But, being the dark colors lover that I am I accepted the bag anyways and tried to wear it out that day. I tried, I did not succeed. The bag would not shut! This is going back to H&M and although I am sad at the loss of such a beautifully colored cross-body bag, the replacement item I got instead is well worth it.

And here is the replacement item! I love marble – I dream of having a house with marble columns and even marble flooring in my bedroom. Not to mention my phone case and planner are marble patterned. This shirt was made for me. It’s a longer shirt which I love and has the marble print. Also the buttons are hidden which I love! The only downside to this shirt would be the “shark-bite” cut (where the sides are longer than the front) and it is a TAD bit baggy, but I can look past those for the stunning print. I absolutely adore how flow this top is, it sits beautifully on the body and has plenty of movement as you can see above. I am begging for cooler weather to come so I can wear this with leather pants.

I am so incredibly excited for this dress! I’ve never owned a sweater dress before and this one is gorgeous! If you know me well, you know my favorite color of clothing to wear is grey! I love the turtleneck that is not suffocating and the slits at the bottom which do make it look like a dress. It is a little baggy, but I find that to be appropriate with winter wear. Regardless, I feel very feminine and chic in this dress.

Well, that is my mini-haul! I hope you found this informative and are now inspired in some fashion choices!

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed!
